20 indigenous performing groups, 180 indigenous performers, 32 different indigenous cultures, 7 different countries, 15 hours of dance, music, stories and songs will all come together for three days at the Indigenous Festival to honour ancient wisdom and to celebrate diversity and deep ancestral connections through a spectacular collaborative display of music, dance and art and sharing between indigenous and non-indigenous participants. A non-profit event, money left over from ticket sales and sponsorships will be donated to registered Indonesian Yayasan and Charities that preserve the culture and environment of indigenous communities. For every ticket purchase, a tree will be planted in Kalimantan and fund indigenous artists to come to the event and be involved. www.indigenouscelebration.art
